Sounds from the Other City
I developed and delivered the art direction for Sounds from the Other City 2026. This consisted of multiple elements, including illustrations which I developed to produce wooden boards of various characters which were then attached the trees around the site. These drew upon the medieval aspect of the art direction, creating a dancing scene. I also created flyers which had illustrations in a similar style on them to illustrate a newspaper style article.
Peoples History Museum Mural
I was commissioned to create a mural and artwork for the chairbacks in the storytelling area at the People’s History Museum. I drew upon the themes of storytelling and coming together, making it appealing to children whilst not making it childish.
We Contain Multitudes
I was commissioned to design the ‘We Contain Multitudes’ zine for Andro & Eve. This was a collection of poems/words/illustrations submitted by workshop participants who had attended workshops delivered by artists and writers to explore themes around queerness/folk/mythology. I designed the front cover, layout and created illustrations to accompany some of the poems.
Cactus
Cactus is a 20 page risograph printed comic zine following the adventures of a cactus that falls out of a window and discovers a magical world. The cactus encounters a range of strange beings and fascinating landscapes. Part two is in development, and will hopefully enter the world soon!
El Mundo Fantastico Del Elefante
This is a screenprinted map for the World of Fantastic Elephants which I designed and printed as part of my residency at R.A.R.O in Madrid, Spain. The residency consisted of two weeks in two different studios, exploring screenprinting and collage techniques creating work which would culminate in an exhibition. The map was produced at an edition of 100 to accompany my exhibited pieces which followed an elephant exploring Madrid - turning this into a fictional world. Unfortunately my residency was cut short due to the pandemic, so I was unable to exhibit.
